1. SHAED | DIZZY
Multi-PlatinumAmerican trio SHAED has dropped a new single and album-opener, "Dizzy," The song is lifted from their highly anticipated debut LP "High Dive," which arrives on May 14th via Photo Finish Records. The song’s suspenseful production – courtesy of twin brothers Spencer and Max Ernst – and Chelsea Lee’s haunting vocal hooks are further bolstered by an equally stunning music video directed by Daniel St. Ours. Dizzy and High Dive find SHAED tackling their vices, anxieties, depression, and insecurities head-on while taking a deep dive toward self-discovery.
2. BRYNN ELLIOTT | LETTER TO A GIRL
26-year-old songstress Brynn Elliott has released a new song titled "Letter To A Girl." The new track is a letter to her younger self, including all the things she wishes she had told herself in those moments of scrutinizing herself in the mirror, going through heartache and generally just trying to make sense of this crazy world. “‘Letter To A Girl’ was one of the first songs she wrote for her upcoming project, and it’s a song that encapsulates all of the project’s themes.
3. THE ACES | DON'T FREAK
Indie-pop quartet the Aces are back with a new track titled "Don't Freak" and their first release since their upbeat, widely adored sophomore LP, "Under My Influence." This is a must-listen as it is an important narrative following lead singer Cristal Ramirez‘s struggle with mental health. Not only is this an introspective track many people across the world can relate to, but it also serves as a song of advocacy as it arrives just in time for the start of May, deemed as Mental Health Awareness Month.
4. SARAH BARRIOS | HAVE WE MET BEFORE (WITH ERIC NAM)
Sarah Barrios has collaborated with Korean singer, songwriter and television host Eric Nam on a brand new song titled "Have We Met Before." A romantic, cinematic montage in a sonic form, the track is a heartwarming pop ballad that embodies a timeless romance between two people who are destined for one another. This is not the first time these two have worked together, as Sarah and Eric have previously co-written the Korean singers 2018's single "I Don't Miss You."
5. ALEC BENJAMIN | THE WAY YOU FELT
Singer-songwriter from Phoenix, Arizona Alec Benjamin has returned with a new song titled "The Way You Felt." The track was produced by Sir Nolan and Lenno and served as his first single since his debut album “These Two Windows,” which was released last May. Alec Benjamin shared on social media, “Video live on YouTube .. Excited to share this new chapter with you guys, hope you like it." In January, he joined Chinese actress Zhao Lu Si's new song “Water Fountain,” where he performed in Chinese.
