ALBUM THROWBACK: BEYONCE | B'DAY (2006)
Here is Houston's born Beyonce's sophomore album titled "B'Day," as it was the follow-up to her debut solo album, "Dangerously In Love." With the release of "B'Day, she began to cement her status as a force to be reckoned with, both creatively and commercially. Half of its 10 tracks could as easily have been released as singles.
This pop album was so carefully constructed that even the weakest tracks are radio-worthy. The mid-tempo track "Irreplaceable," which Ne-Yo was co-written, is one of the best songs on the album, which ended up being her fourth number-one in the U.S. The album, which this year celebrates 15 years as was released on September 6, 2006.
