Canadian singer and songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba Olivia Lunny has released a brand new song titled "Sad To See You Happy." There's a relatable tale of break-up at the heart of the gloriously poppy new single, belied by percussive instrumentation that creates a warm, nostalgic feel. The melodious tune is everything you need and needs to be added to everyone's breakup playlist. Overall, the song plays with the contradiction of loving someone and being sad over their happiness, and Olivia’s sweet voice makes the song come together perfectly.

Lunny was crowned a winner in CTV's singing competition The Launch and scored her first Top 40 hit with the song "I Got You." She establishes a mellow vibe with velvety vocals and ambient guitars. With expressive lyrics, her music explores matters of the heart. Lunny has been active in the Winnipeg scene for a few years, snagging opening slots for some high-profile artists and earning a Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Pop Artist of the Year for her debut, self-titled EP released in February 2018. With over a million streams apiece on singles “Think Of Me” and “Bedsheets”, Olivia Lunny’s 2020 EP "To The Ones I Loved" made undeniable waves.
