NEW ALBUM: ABBA | VOYAGE WITH ABBA GOLD (JAPAN LIMITED EDITION)

Perhaps the biggest comeback in music history is the legendary Swedish pop band Abba's new album "Voyage." A new limited edition has dropped that includes ABBA Gold: Greatest Hits released in 1992; the record is the second-biggest seller of all time in the UK with sales of 5.61 million, only behind Queen's Greatest Hits. It serves as their first studio album since "The Visitors," 40 years ago, and their dissolution in 1982. The album was announced on a YouTube live stream in September 2021. Abba got together again in June 2016 and sang "The Way Old Friends Do" at a private party in Stockholm. Two years later, in April 2018, they announced that they had recorded two new songs: "I Still Have Faith In You" and "Don't Shut Me Down," the lead singles for "Voyage" with which the band had already played gave a foretaste of the new album. A third single was released in October with "Just A Notion." In keeping with the new album, Abba has announced a unique live show: on May 27, 2022, the "Abba Voyage Show" will start in London, a digital performance that has never before existed in this form. In a specially built arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Abbas Avatars will sing and dance on stage, accompanied by a 10-person live band. In reality, the four actual Abba members are now all over 70, but their "Abbatars" were created based on their 1979 images.
