Alicia Keys has teamed up with Apple Music to release an exclusive EP entitled "Alicia Keys: Sweet Dreams." The four-track set is described as a “collection of lullabies” in Spatial Audio. The EP includes “Best Of Me” from the upcoming album, "KEYS," as well as “Underdog” from her "Alicia" album. The project's highlight is “Over The Rainbow,” a duet that Keys recorded with her son Egypt. Keys noted that it’s her and Egypt’s favourite song. “Hearing his voice and his tone today at 11 years old is blowing my mind,” Keys shared in an Instagram post. “I have the chills! You’re going to love this sweet song and a few other lullabies [sic] I created to give you some zen energy when you need it.” Keys is gearing up for the release of her new album, "KEYS", on Dec. 10, via RCA Records. The double album will include the previously shared songs “Best Of Me (Originals),” "Best Of Me (Unlocked)” and “LALA (Unlocked).” “One album. 2 versions. Originals & Unlocked. The Originals come from that classic side of me! It’s that AK that we WANT!! A homecoming. On the Unlocked side, I wanted to sample The Originals to create a whole other sonic experience. So, @mikewillmadeit and I connected and made magic,” Keys explained. In addition, Keys is nominated for two awards at the 2022 Grammy Awards. “A Beautiful Noise,” her duet with Brandi Carlile, is nominated for Song of the Year. "ALICIA" is nominated for Best Immersive Audio Album. It’s Keys’ first time receiving a nod in this category.
