Having the most creative and longest album title of 2021, sister duo Aly and AJ Michalka are off to an early lead with their first album in 14 years. The album is titled "A Touch Of The Beat Gets You Up On Your Feet Gets You Out And Then Into The Sun." The lengthy album title is significant on multiple levels. Besides the fact, they say it is the perfect title, especially given the release this week, as things start to open up a bit from the COVID lockdown of a year plus, and there is a sense of optimism, the length and creativity of the title make a powerful statement. This serves as the follow-up to their last album, 2007's "Insomnia," as the new album is a long time coming for both the band and their fans. Aly believes the duo wasn’t quite ready to release the current music any earlier, putting off the release of the 12-track album until now, making it feel like a new start for the sisters.
