British singer-songwriter Benedict Cork has released his new EP "If These Walls Could Talk," posing as an intimate look into the artist's journey of personal discovery, “If These Walls Could Talk” casts a spotlight on Benedict’s raw and authentic attitude toward tune crafting and solidifies himself as one to watch for 2022. The feel-good title track put us firmly in our feels, having heard Benedict’s angelic vocals grace his latest single, “If These Walls Could Talk.” Hacked from his new EP of the same name, the poignant track sees the artist riding the waves of nostalgia as he reminisces his childhood over a piano-led melody. In the music video, Benedict enters the doors to his childhood home, coming face to face with his younger self as a triumphant chorus crashes in. Upon the release, Cork explains, “‘If These Walls Could Talk’ is all about my childhood home and how much change and growth I experienced within those walls through the years. I really wanted to capture that nostalgia in the music video, so the director Yury and I tried to fill it with as many pivotal moments as possible – from first love to first heartbreak to a young version of me (played by Buddy Macarthy) haunting the corridors when I return to collect some things.” Having amassed over 10 million streams across all DSPs since making his debut back in 2018, Benedict Cork is the artist's name on everyone’s lips, having “pricked the ears” of tastemakers at Billboard and Clash, as well as Sir Elton John, with his unique brand of refreshingly honest and vulnerable melancholic pop. As a dynamic and captivating live performer, Cork has played shows across Europe and the UK, supporting Duncan Laurence, Tom Walker and Emily King, and performing alongside international icons Stevie Wonder and Lionel Richie at the British Summertime Festival in 2019.
