Chelsea Cutler's sophomore album "When I Close My Eyes" deviates from her older music in the best ways possible, giving her fans hope for the present and the future. She now gives us more new music as she releases the deluxe edition of her album "When I Close My Eyes," which features the previous 13 songs and three new tracks. Chelsea Cutler shared on social media, “It has been an amazing few months of WICME! Even though I submitted all songs for the album over the summer, I still felt I wasn't fully ready to start moving on conceptually or sonically. So I kept writing! And got a few songs that I really love. While the album boasts the same bedroom pop production and vulnerable lyrics, “When I Close My Eyes” has a newfound sense of hope and joy that comes from Cutler coming into her own. “When I Close My Eyes” is an ode to all of life’s ups and downs as well as a reminder to enjoy the experiences we have and the memories we make. It seems that if the pandemic has taught Cutler anything, it’s to appreciate the mundane that she and we often take for granted. In addition to releasing new music this spring, Chelsea embarked on her “When I Close My Eyes Tour,” which kicked off in Austin at Stubb’s Outdoors on March 9th, the tour will make stops in Boston, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Portland, and more. Following her headline run, Chelsea will make her debut at Coachella in April and return to The Governors Ball stage in June.
