G-Eazy has dropped his seventh studio album entitled, "These Things Happen Too," which is made up of 19 tracks, which has been three years in the making, includes the single "Breakdown" with Demi Lovato, plus appearances from Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign, and Marc E. Bassy. Gerald connects with YG on "Instructions" and reps the Bay on "Now & Later" with E-40, Daboii, and Shootergang Kony. Production comes courtesy of Hit-Boy, Hitmaka, OG Parker, and more. During an interview in April 2020, G-Eazy revealed he'd recorded over 175 songs for "These Things Happen Too" and had already secured the verse from Lil Wayne, who he called "one of the most influential artists in my life." "When I go home, and I see the people I grew up with, I spend time with my mom, my family and I listen to the music I [loved], it's a reminder of who you are," he said about his journey. "A certain amount of growth and evolution and maturation are always healthy things, [but] you know you can't stay stagnant forever." G-Eazy's newest album, "These Things Happen Too," is a follow-up to his 2014 debut "These Things Happen," released in 2014. G-Eazy was reportedly arrested and charged with assault on September 13 for his alleged involvement in a fight outside The Standard, HighlineHeHe's scheduled to appear in Manhattan Criminal Court on October 1.
