NEW ALBUM: KRISTIN CHENOWETH | HAPPINESS IS... CHRISTMAS!
Acclaimed singer, actress, and Broadway icon released her new Christmas album, "Happiness Is… Christmas!" via Concord Records. The holiday album features unique renditions of some of your favourite and even some underrated Holiday songs performed by this beloved performer. One of the notable tracks that have been released as a single is a unique mashup. It reworks the song "Happiness" from You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (which Chenoweth won a Tony for her performance as “Sally” in the 1999 Broadway revival) and the song "Christmas Time" from the film A Charlie Brown Christmas. Chenoweth received a second Tony Award nomination for originating the role of Glinda in the musical "Wicked." Her television roles include Annabeth Schott in NBC's "The West Wing" and Olive Snook on the ABC comedy-drama "Pushing Daisies," She won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 2009. She also starred in the ABC TV series "GCB" in 2012, played Lavinia in "Trial & Error" in 2018 and was the antagonist, Mildred Layton, in the Apple TV+ musical comedy "Schmigadoon!" (2021). Chenoweth has a festive history of getting in the holiday spirit; she released her first Christmas album, "A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas," in 2008 and starred in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie "A Christmas Love Story," in 2019 for the Hallmark Channel. She also performed with the iconic The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra during their annual Christmas concert.
