NEW ALBUM: LXANDRA | CAREFUL WHAT I DREAM OF

Rising Finland-based artist Lxandra has just released her debut album, entitled “Careful What I Dream Of." Lxandra has been involved in music from a young age, thanks largely to her own father, a producer and bassist who has worked with several acclaimed Finnish acts. She's a 20-year-old artist from Suomenlinna (off the coast of Helsinki, population: 800). A singer/songwriter, her songs are solid, but the emphasis is most definitely on the voice. The album comprises of 15-track, including preceding singles “Careful What I Dream Of,” “Glide," "Who," and her most latest release, "Sabotage." She began by writing her own songs and eventually travelled to Berlin to collaborate with Finnish producer Perttu Kurttila. Lxandra relocated to Berlin full-time to launch her career. She signed with Island Records, and in 2017 released her debut singles "Flicker" and "Hush Hush Baby." The following year, she recorded a cover of U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love)" for a trailer for the Amazon series "Man in the High Castle" and issued the original song "Dig Deep," her major-label debut. That song and "Flicker" were included on the EP "Another Lesson Learned," which saw release on Vertigo Berlin in 2019.
