Few months after his latest album, "I Had Another Dream," Texas’ native singer/songwriter SoMo, aka Joseph Somers Morales, has released his fifth studio album and 3rd as an indie artist. The new record is titled "The Duality of Man," SoMo describes the project as “a special conceptual project about love and introspection." The album was proceeded by five singles which include “Trees,” “Blue Rose, “Boom,” and “Dolly Patron," and his latest release, "Rain." that features guest vocals from SoMo's daughter, Finley Grace which is his favourite one he's ever recorded. Sonically, SoMo is the smooth-as-butter link between Usher, Justin Timberlake and Drake. There are lots of references to bedrooms, body contact and bare-naked adventures. But he does it all with a gentlemanly smile, veering expertly from candlelit ballads to feel-good uptempo. SoMo's released his self-titled debut album was released in April 2014, entering the Billboard 200 at No. 6 and topping the iTunes albums chart. Rhythmic first single, "Ride," has been certified platinum for sales of 1 million units, and a Spanglish version of the song was also released
