Any big Tame Impala fan will know that with every studio album released, there will also be additional B-Sides & Remixes follow. Tame Impala has officially come through with a new album entitled "The Slow Rush Deluxe," featuring previously unreleased demos and remixes. The physical version comes in a 2xLP package with new artwork, a 40-page booklet, and a 2050 calendar. The album features two never-before-heard B-sides, the original and remix versions of “Patience,” and additional extended versions and remixes. Of the “Breathe Deeper” remix, Lil Yachty said in a statement: “It was so amazing to work with Kevin [Parker] as I've been a big fan since high school, so it was a pleasant surprise and honour to be a part of such an incredible song.” Parker originally conceived the project in Perth in 2007. After a series of singles and EPs, Tame Impala's debut studio album, "Innerspeaker," was released in 2010; it was certified gold in Australia and well received by critics. Parker's 2012 follow-up, "Lonerism," was also acclaimed, reaching platinum status in Australia and receiving a Grammy Award nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. In 2022, the Kevin Parker-led group will embark on a North American tour featuring festival stops like Hangout in Gulf Shores, Alabama and Innings in Tempe, Arizona. The current routing for the band, whose excellent "The Slow Rush" rolled out last year, also includes several non-festival stops, including the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the Bridgestone in Nashville.
