Tory Lanez has dropped his highly anticipated sixth studio album, "Alone At Prom." Since September, the rapper has been teasing the album, and now we finally get a full-length release from the project. Tory released the lead single, “Lady of Namek.” The song is the first single from the 80s themed project, a project he wants to credit his alter ego, Ashton Rain. He said of the song, “That's the exact reason we called it LADY OF NAMEK !!! If there was ever a lady of namek, she would def be iconic and one of a kind ... so it's kind of like a figure of speech ... but it's so unheard of !!! But yeah, DBZ reference for sure !!!!” The "Alone At Prom" was initially to be released on December 1, 2021, but ended up being delayed. Any fan of Tory knows that his versatility has allowed him to dabble with a diverse list of genres such as R&B, Pop, Soul, Trap, Drill, and more. Thus, making it easy for him to have a wide range of listeners from a mix of genres. Now, Tory may have the opportunity to attract a new fanbase: 80’s music lovers. Tory Lanez received initial recognition from the mixtape "Conflicts of My Soul: The 416 Story," released in August 2013. In 2015, Tory Lanez signed to record producer Benny Blanco’s Mad Love Records through Interscope Records. Tory Lanez’s debut studio album, "I Told You" (2016), included the singles “Say It” and “Luv,” which peaked at number 23 and 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. In 2018, Lanez released his second and third studio albums, "Memories Don’t Die and Love Me Now?"
