NEW MUSIC: 070 SHAKE | SKIN AND BONES

070 Shake has been teasing her sophomore album since the December release of "Lose My Cool," a collab with NLE Choppa. That track has since been scrapped from the project, and its title has been shortened — from "You Can't Kill Me Because I Don't Exist" to a simple "You Can't Kill Me." However, Shake has shared her new single, "Skin and Bones," via G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam Recordings. The G.O.O.D. Music artist’s latest offering serves as the lead single from her forthcoming sophomore LP, "You Can’t Kill Me," which is scheduled to drop later this spring. The new song is a spacey ballad about self-worth, produced by Dave Hamelin and mixed by Mike Dean. "Treat me like I'm more than a pair of skin of skin and bones / And that really made a difference in my story," she sings on the hook during a rare lull in Hamelin's tempestuous beat. The Noah Lee-directed music video for “Skin and Bones” is a surreal, cinematic trip, taking 070 Shake and her cohort of co-stars throughout various locations until she arrives at an empty auditorium for a shocking conclusion. Following the release of her second studio album, 070 Shake heads out on a headlining North American tour “immediately following the release of "You Can’t Kill Me,” per a press release, clueing us into that early May window—her 20-date run starts with a May 7 stop in Detroit, Michigan, then hits Chicago, New York City, Toronto, Houston and Phoenix on its way to a four-show finale in Los Angeles from June 7-10.
