NEW MUSIC: ARIANA GRANDE | JUST LOOK UP (FT. KID CUDI) (FROM NETFLIX FILM "DON'T LOOK UP")
Ariana Grande is back and has teamed up with Kid Cudi on their collaborative single “Just Look Up.” The song comes from the upcoming film "Don’t Look Up," which arrives in select theatres on December 10 and will be streaming on Netflix starting December 24. Directed by Adam McKay, the dark comedy features a star-studded cast, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence and fun cameos from Grande, Kid Cudi, Jonah Hill, and Timothée Chalamet. The film follows Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence), an astronomy grad student, and her professor Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio), making an astounding discovery of a comet orbiting within the solar system. The problem - it's on a direct collision course with Earth. It turns out warning humankind about a planet-killer the size of Mount Everest is an inconvenient fact to navigate. With the help of Dr. Oglethorpe (Rob Morgan), Kate and Randall embark on a media tour that takes them from the office of an indifferent President Orlean (Meryl Streep) and her sycophantic son and Chief of Staff, Jason (Jonah Hill), to the airwaves of The Daily Rip, an upbeat morning show hosted by Brie (Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Tyler Perry). With only six months until the comet makes an impact, managing the 24-hour news cycle and gaining the attention of the social media-obsessed public before it's too late proves shockingly comical. "Don’t Look Up" follows the announcement that Grande will be portraying Glinda in the live-action adaptation of "Wicked" alongside Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba.
