Irish alt-pop singer-songwriter Brooke Scullion, aka Brooke, released a new song, “That's Rich,” which is her entry song for Ireland's Eurovision Song Contest 2022. It was written by Brooke Scullion, Izzy Warner and Karl Zine. "That's Rich" is inspired by the likes of fiery female artists along the lines of Blondie and Gossip. The track was premiered on Ryan Tubridy's RTÉ One radio show and is slated to be performed for the first time on national TV on this Friday's "Late Late Show" Eurosong Special. “I was reading Debbie Harry’s autobiography and wanted to encapsulate the attitude she portrayed in her life,” Brooke explains. Oozing with energy and charisma, the songwriter demonstrates her impressive vocal range over an intense beat and playful instrumentation. Brooke has been making waves for her ferocious vocal delivery and dance-worthy anthems. Rising to fame as a finalist of The Voice UK 2020, she wowed the judges and viewers with her show-stopping performances. Having duetted with Ella Eyre and been mentored by Grammy award-winning coach/singer Meghan Trainor, Brooke is closely following in their footsteps in the Irish music scene. Her debut single, "Attention," landed in 2020, paving the way for more extensive and brighter things.
