Singer-songwriter Christina Perri released a new song, “evergone,” which is the first single since the 2021 album “Songs for Rosie,” which was the first anniversary of her child Rosie's death. The new track was written by Christina Perri, Jennifer Decilveo, Jordan Miller and Jason Bell and produced by Jennifer Decilveo. Christina Perri shared on social media, “when I lost my daughter; I decided that she was going to live with me in my heart, in my breath, in my every moment. this is what I'm singing about, and it really helped me. I hope it helps you too.” Her last album, "Songs for Rosie," comprised primarily covers—"Here Comes The Sun," "The Rainbow Connection," Goodnight My Angel," and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" among them—all of which Perri had selected before Rosie’s passing and all of which hit differently now. It also features one original, "Roses in the Rain." Named iTunes’ “Breakthrough Pop Artist of 2011,” Perri earned critical applause and an increasingly fervent fan following her extraordinary debut, "lovestrong." Highlighted by the 5x-platinum-certified smash, “Jar of Hearts,” the album – produced by Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli (The White Stripes, My Morning Jacket) – entered the SoundScan/Billboard 200 among the top 5 upon its initial 2011 release, while also proving an unqualified international sensation with top 5 success in Australia and Ireland as well as top 10 sales in Canada and the United Kingdom.
