NEW MUSIC: FLUME | SAY NOTHING (FEATURING MAY-A) + VIDEO PREMIERE
Flume has shared his latest song and video for “Say Nothing” with MAY-A, which is also the lead single from the musician’s forthcoming album "Palaces." In the visual, we see MAY-A buried in black sand, interspersed with shots of a motorcyclist dressed in psychedelic gear. “This song is about feelings of post-relationship clarity,” Flume said in a statement. “We wrote the song midway through 2020 while the pandemic was still pretty new. I was really excited about the initial idea, but it was only once I got back to Australia in early 2021 and linked up in the studio with MAY-A that the song really came to life.” “Working with Flume on ‘Say Nothing’ has been a really incredible experience,” MAY-A added. “I’m such a big fan of Harley’s, so it’s unbelievable to be in a position to create music with someone I look up to and can learn so much from. His creative process is a really inspiring thing to be a part of. I’m so excited for everyone to hear the song!” Palaces are slated for a May 20 release via Future Classic and Transgressive. “Say Nothing,” and its forthcoming parent, is the first cuts of new music from Flume since his 2019 EPs "Quits and Hi This Is Flume," the latter nudging the Billboard 200 chart and peaking at No. 11 on the ARIA chart. Flume is also set to play several festivals in 2022, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Governors Ball.
