NEW MUSIC: HANNE MJØEN | EMOTIONAL FEVER

The Norwegian alt-pop artist brings a tale of deep introspection and romantic turmoil to her new track, "Emotional Fever." This melancholy electro-pop masterpiece tells of the emotional battles between deciding whether someone is right for you or not. Mjøen describes the fever as: “One moment it feels like forever, and the next you get a panic attack, and you want to leave. And it feels like a fever because of the sudden changes you have no control over.” “One moment it feels like forever, and the next you get a panic attack, and you just want to leave,” explains the artist when describing the mixed emotions that inspired the track. “And it feels like a fever because of the sudden changes you have no control over.” Starting with glassy, lullaby raindrops, the song builds into a torrent of passionate production and a catchy hook, enhanced in a glaze of electronic echoes. It allows you to cry, be angry, dance and celebrate. You’ll enjoy the emotional fever, and you might even catch it from those imprinting melodies." And, with the artist’s EP of the same name heading towards a warmly-received release, expect more raw confessions on life and love clashing with grungey-yet-glimmering sensibilities very soon.
