NEW MUSIC: HANSON | AGAINST THE WORLD
Hanson, the Pop-rock band from Tulsa, Oklahoma, has released the fourth offering titled "Against The World" continuing with their song-by-song album release. The album's title track, Taylor Hanson speaks of the song and video's release, is "[about going] against the odds — and anybody that's built something or just even lived through life through this couple of seasons, I'm sure has felt that sense of being against what seemed like impossible obstacles and finding a way through them." "As artists, we've found a lot of camaraderie in the audience that's joined us for our journey," adds Taylor, 38, of himself and bandmates/brothers Isaac and Zac Hanson, who have been putting on a summer concert series in their hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to promote the album. The new project was recorded at the legendary FAME studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, and brings together a series of new sounds. The album builds on the band's history deeply rooted in American soul and rock 'n' roll and their longevity as songwriters and performers who have continued to mine their origins while propelling their music forward. "Against the World" follows three previously released songs on the album, after "Annalie," "Don't Ever Change," and "Only Love."
