NEW MUSIC: HIKARU UTADA | PINK BLOOD

Japanese singer-songwriter Hikaru Utada releases a new single, “Pink Blood,” and its accompanying music video. Featured as the theme song for the anime television series TO YOUR ETERNITY, “Pink Blood” marks Hikaru Utada’s first time providing the main theme song to an anime television series. The music video for “Pink Blood” was directed by 谷川英司/Eiji Tanigawa of Creative Lab.TOKYO and features a more imaginative, conceptual look. “Pink Blood” follows the hugely successful release of “One Last Kiss,” which served as the main theme song to the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 THRICE UPON A TIME released on March 10, “One Last Kiss” made Hikaru Utada the first-ever solo artist to keep the top spot for three consecutive weeks simultaneously in two of the Oricon chart digital categories.
