Pop powerhouse Jennifer Lopez is back and has teamed up with Rauw Alejandro on her new track "Cambia el Paso" which translates to "Change the Step." The fiery new song marks the first release for Lopez in 2021 and has been teasing her highly anticipated summer collab with Alejandro, 27, for several weeks — and has said that it's about moving on. The pair have already shot a music video for the song, directed by Jessy Terrero, which will be premiered on July 9th. “The song is about change and not being afraid to take the step,” Jennifer Lopez said of the song on an episode of SiriusXM's Pitbull's Globalization show. “Like, take the step, advance, do what you need to do. If something's not feeling right, whatever it is in your life like, make that move and dance. Dance is life, and joy and happiness.” She added, “I'm talking about something else. All she wants to do is just dance, dance, dance, dance again. You gotta live. You gotta be yourself. You got to be happy. And that's what the record's about.” Lopez has released several Spanish-language hits over the years, including two of her biggest last year, “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely." Alejandro recently released his acclaimed new album "Vice Versa."
