Joyce Wrice had one of the best R&B albums with her debut "Overgrown." The project arrived after she released a collection of singles. The album came with features from Lucky Daye, Freddie Gibbs, Masego, Westside Gunn, Kaytranada, Devin Morrison, and UMI. "Overgrown" brought Wrice plenty of well-deserved attention as she earned a slot at this year’s Broccoli City Festival and was enlisted to sing the theme song for "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder," a reboot of the mid-2000s Disney series. Nearly a year after Wrice released "Overgrown," she’s returned with new music, and it features one of her past collaborators Kaytranada who unite for the groovy “Ice Tea.” Wrice is nothing short of carefree on the new track as she flaunts her style and good looks while comparing their sweetness to that of cocoa and iced tea. She began her career singing on her Youtube channel, where she has managed to gain more than 30k subscribers and 2 million total views. She then released her debut EP "Stay Around" in 2016, featuring collaborations with SiR, Mndsgn, J.LBS, Chuk Le Garcon and DJ Harrison. Wrice’s new song comes as she prepares to embark on the 26-date North American "Candydrip "tour as direct support for her “Falling In Love” collaborator and 2022 GRAMMY nominee Lucky Daye. The show run kicks off in Portland on March 18th with stops in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Charlotte, and Toronto before coming to a close in New York on April 23rd.
