NEW MUSIC: KANE BROWN & BLACKBEAR | MEMORY

Following collaborations with such non-country artists as Becky G and Camila Cabello, country superstar Kane Brown’s newest duet is with pop producer/songwriter Blackbear titled "Memory." RCA’s pop promotion division will work on the new song. Brown’s label, RCA Nashville, has previously partnered with RCA New York on such Brown pop hits as “One Thing Right” with Marshmello and “Be Like That” with Khalid and Swae Lee. RCA will officially go for radio adds on July 12. Kane and Blackbear wrote the song with Andrew Goldstein, Joe Kirkland, and Ernest Smith. According to Billboard, “The sauntering midtempo track features Brown first speaking and then singing about living life at top speed and escaping from any pain, concerned that he’s running on empty and proclaiming ‘I don’t want to be a memory,’ before Blackbear takes over similarly expressing the need to find a way to manage the crazy train.” Blackbear, whose real name is Matthew Musto, has worked with various artists, including Justin Bieber, Billie Eilish, Linkin Park, Nick Jonas, G-Eazy, and Maroon 5 Megan Thee Stallion.
