A newly unreleased track titled "I Go To Sleep from Pop superstar Katy Perry has leaked online. This track was supposed to be included on her sixth studio album "Smile" but didn't make the final cut. A snippet of the track initially leaked in February 2021, and here now, we can hear the track in full. The unreleased track was rumoured to have been scrapped from her album "Smile" as Perry wanted to give it a more upbeat feel and decided to ditch a series of ballads. The track is reminiscing about lost relationships and choosing to sleep away the reality and has a stripped-back production that is very mellow and beautiful while letting her voice shine. On the US Billboard 200 chart, "Smile" debuted at number five as Perry's fifth top-10 album and her first album since "One of the Boys" released in 2008. Four singles were released from the album: "Daisies," the lead single, followed by "Smile," "Cry About It Later," and "Not the End of the World." In related news, Perry is gearing up for her upcoming Las Vegas residency, "Play," and has shared on social media her setlist that she will be performing many of her hits such as: "Firework," "E.T," "California Girls," "Waking Up In Vegas," "Never Really Over." and many more. Perry first announced her residency back in May of this year. It is set to begin on December 29 and will take place at The Theatre within the newly opened Resorts World venue.
