If you can believe it, season two of "Euphoria" is even more intense and unsettling than the first one. And it has a soundtrack to match. Labrinth, the brilliant composer behind popular songs "Still Don't Know My Name" and "All For Us" from season one, is back again for season two. The singer-songwriter's new track "I'm Tired" elevates the show's intensity with a score that tugs on your heart and makes you feel the heaviness of the subject matter in each episode, and the latest episode is no different. During a powerful scene highlighting the spiralling nature of Rue's substance abuse, Labrinth is seen singing his newest song composed for "Euphoria" in a church full of people, and fans (including myself) have since been eager to listen to the song on repeat. It's just that good. The lyrics for "I'm Tired" correlate with Rue and her journey with the substance-abuse disorder, which she is ultimately tired of. In the scene, Labrinth sings, "Hey Lord, you know I'm fighting, I'm sure this world is done with me. "Hey Lord, you know I'm fighting, I'm sure this world is done with me. Hey Lord, you know it's true. Now the tide is rolling in, I ain't tryin' to win. Let it take me, I'll be on my way. How long can I stay in a place that cannot contain me?" As for, the track "Yeh I F***n Did It" was from an episode of Euphoria season two, which aired on Sunday (16 January), that featured the new Labrinth song in the episode’s end credits.
