NEW MUSIC: LAUREN JAUREGUI | TEMPORARY

Singer-songwriter Lauren Jauregui is back with a powerful new song titled "Temporary," and it is all about her own mental health, in which she has been very open on the topic. Jauregui, along with three other musical artists, has partnered with Sound It Out, a national campaign that uses music to help middle school kids and their caregivers have open, honest conversations about mental health. The artists — Jauregui, KAMAUU, Tobe Nwigwe, and Empress Of — each had a personal conversation with one middle schooler and their caregiver, facilitated by a mental health expert. They then created songs inspired by those conversations, and the result is an EP with mental health at its core. The artist composed the track after a chat on the subject with a girl named Ana. There, in a sensitive way, she reflects on the ups and downs of life.
