Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Lauren Sanderson has shared a new song, “Queen Bee.” A fun alt-pop single, as it marks Sanderson’s second release since announcing her re-launch as an independent artist earlier this year, and gives fans a taste of what is to come from the genre-defying singer just one year after; dropping her debut album "Midwest Kinds Can Make It Big." Lyrically exploring the feeling of being completely infatuated with someone to the point of feeling inexplicably in love (or at least in lust), “Queen Bee” is an anthem made for anyone who falls hard and fast. Lauren Sanderson said about the new EP she plans to release as an independent artist. “I see myself as a channel,” she said. “When people feel my energy or hear my lyrics, I want them to feel empowered and use that inspiration to create the life they want to live. To see someone who came from self-belief and know they can do the same for themselves. That’s all I really want.” The new EP is expected to be released later this year.
