Over the past couple of months, Liam Gallagher has been rolling out his upcoming new album "C’mon You Know," set to drop on May 27. So far, we’ve heard a couple of songs from it, including “Everything’s Electric” and its title track. Gallagher has revealed another new track entitled "Better Days," who also co-wrote it with his usual collaborators, Andrew Wyatt and Michael Tighe. It also features a guitar from Nick Zinner. “‘Better Days’ is the sound of the summer,” Gallagher said in a statement. And, if you are a devotee of the Gallagher brothers, you might find it easy to agree that “Better Days” has a big propulsive beat and Gallagher’s trademark widescreen melodies. “Better Days” also comes with a video directed by Paul Dugdale. It features Gallagher and his band playing the song atop Manchester’s Midland Hotel, in a nod to the famous Beatles rooftop performance. In October, Liam Gallagher teased "C’mon You Know" with a trailer for the album. It comes packed with clips of live performances by Liam Gallagher. It’s interspersed with shots of the audience singing along to the tune. Liam will donate all UK proceeds from the song to War Child UK for the rest of this year. Alongside the album announcement, Liam Gallagher teased a huge one-off Knebworth show. The enormous concert will see Gallagher returning to Knebworth on June 4th, 2022. Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Fat White Family, and Goat Girl will join Liam Gallagher for the performance.
