NEW MUSIC: LIL NAS X | INDUSTRY BABY (FEATURING JACK HARLOW)
Earlier this week, the rapper teased his new single "Industry Baby produced by Kanye West, and now it has finally arrived. He also previewed a video skit poking fun at his court appearance over the “Satan Shoe” copyright infringement lawsuit. The clip was labelled as a prelude to the single’s video. In addition, he posted a TikTok clip in which he alerted fans about the inappropriate nature of his new music video: “saying this in advance so y’all won’t blame me. THE INDUSTRY BABY VIDEO IS NOT FOR YOUR KIDS!” The shoes in question were a customization of Nike Air Max 97s that was reported to have contained human blood. The rapper originally endorsed it as a tie-in with his track, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." In April, Nike announced that there would be a recall of the shoe: “MSCHF has agreed to initiate a voluntary recall to buy back any Satan Shoes and Jesus Shoes for their original retail prices, to remove them from circulation.” The new track is set to appear on his upcoming debut album. The track follows his last single, "Sun Goes Down," which dropped back in May.
