Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Luke Hemmings has released the third single, "Place In Me," from his upcoming debut solo album “When Facing the Things We Turn Away." With “Place in Me,” the 5 Seconds of Summer member delivers another twist in his songwriting and artistry, this time showcasing a more tender side to his art. Soft yet vividly vulnerable, Luke’s voice soars like a zephyr while pleading for connection, strength and the embrace of another. The result is a message as intimate and immediately felt, just the listener and Luke in honest conversation. “Place In Me” follows Luke’s previous releases of “Motion” and “Starting Line,” which will also appear on his forthcoming album, When Facing The Things We Turn Away From. “Motion” and “Starting Line” have been met with a sea of support globally, receiving widespread acclaim and support. Luke is best known as the lead singer of 5 Seconds Of Summer and has co-written some of the band’s biggest hits, including “Youngblood,” “Teeth,” “Want You Back,” and “Lie To Me.” His debut album, "When Facing The Things We Turn Away," will be released on August 13.
