NEW MUSIC: MARIAN HILL | SPINNIN (FEAT. KEMBA & STEVE DAVIT)

Creating the latest duo buzz is the sultry 27-year-old Samantha Gongol and Jeremy Lloyd's producer. Their vocals, lyrics, music, and melodies reflect an innovative sound of alternative electronic pop. The Philadelphia-based synth-pop duo Marian Hill has released a new song entitled “SPINNIN,” teaming up with American rapper Kemba and saxophonist Steve Davit. The song is taken from their upcoming third studio album, “why can't we just pretend?”, which follows the single “little bit” featuring GASHI, released in January. The new album is expected to be released later this spring. It was written during the pandemic after the 2018 second album “Unusual.” Jeremy Lloyd said the songs that made the new album are genuinely the best of the best of almost three years of songwriting. Combining a genre fusion of hip-hop and R&B., Their signature dark production infuses a jazzy vibe with lyrics relating to the many faces of romances and love. In 2016, they released their debut album, "ACT ONE," featuring the hit single “Down,” which quickly heated up the social media circuits following an advertisement for the iPhone 7 and Air Pods. This validated their hard work and creative style, moving them up the Shazam charts. The duo is pushing the limits of their original indie electronic music to new innovative techniques in their new album.
