Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor unwrapped her first-ever Christmas album, "A Very Trainor Christmas," in October 2020. Now, a deluxe edition of the album will be released on October 29, 2021, with the first single from the deluxe edition (sixth overall), her cover of "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" (1958). The new deluxe edition will feature three bonus tracks in total, including "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree," and she explained on Instagram, “It’s Riley’s first Christmas, so naturally, I had to add a few more tunes; for this special season.” It also includes previously released “My Kind of Present,” the album slides a total of six new originals under the tree. “Holidays” [feat. Earth, Wind & Fire] dangles mistletoe from the disco ball as funky horns and a wild beat resounds through Christmas Eve and into the morning. “Christmas Party” brings the entire family together, while “Christmas Got Me Blue” gets the lonely hearts dancing. "A Very Trainor Christmas" debuted at number 144 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 89. Trainor and MacFarlane's cover version of "White Christmas" debuted at number 24 on the Adult Contemporary chart the same week, marking the third holiday entry for both artists. It later peaked at number 1 on the chart. The album also entered the Top Holiday Albums chart at number 7.
