Melanie C has released an acoustic re-recording of her classic solo hit "I Turn to You," among many others. The Spice Girls legend has dropped the new track across digital platforms as the latest in a series of stripped-back takes on past releases and cuts from her latest, self-titled album. "I Turn to You" was released as the fourth single from Melanie’s debut solo album ‘Northern Star’ and topped the UK charts back in 2000. It also includes acoustic tracks such as "Never Be The Same," "Too Much," "In And Out Of Love and more. In December, Melanie released her latest single, "Into You," from the Deluxe Edition of her most recent self-titled album. It follows "Who I Am, Blame It on Me," "Fearless," and "Overload" as previous releases from the LP. In our review of ‘Melanie C,’ Retro Pop called the album “without a doubt her most confident, polished, and exciting release to date.” She rose to fame in 1996, releasing, in two years with the Spice Girls, two consecutive number one albums, eight number one singles from nine worldwide hits, the biggest-selling debut single of all time and the biggest-selling album in music history by a girl group, respectively with "Wannabe" atop in 37 countries with over seven million records, and "Spice," with more than 17 countries across the world, with over 31 million copies, as well as the second album "Spiceworld" with more than 20 million copies sold.
