NEW MUSIC: NICKI MINAJ | DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM? (FEATURING LIL BABY) + VIDEO PREMIERE
Nicki Minaj is back and has teamed up with Lil Baby for their new single. “Do We Have a Problem?” arrives with a new music video co-starring the actor Joseph Sikora and Cory Hardrict. The song was announced with a hotline (213-523-7762), where Minaj asked fans to present any problems they were facing. Nicki Minaj’s last album was 2018’s "Queen." Since then, she has collaborated with Jesy Nelson, Bia, Polo G, Drake, and others on new songs and worked on an HBO Max documentary series. Lil Baby released a collaboration with Lil Durk last year called "The Voice of the Heroes." He also joined Kirk Franklin and Just Blaze for the "Space Jam: A New Legacy" cut “We Win”—now nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1’s New Music Daily, Nicki said that a new album is on the way. “So the album is coming very soon, obviously,” she said. “That’s why I started putting out music. Like I said before, from now on, every Friday, it will be called Pink Friday. I do have a lot of surprises lined up for the fans leading up to the album, but we want to definitely get the album out there quickly. I will say that. I would like to give them a taste of a little bit more music before the album comes out, but we think that it’s time.” Last year, Minaj re-released her 2009 mixtape "Beam Me Up Scotty" with three new bonus tracks and appeared on Jesy Nelson‘s debut solo single “Boyz,” sparking a public feud with Little Mix over accusations that the former girl group member was Blackfishing in her new video.
