NEW MUSIC: OLIVIA RODRIGO | DEJA VU + VIDEO PREMIERE
Updated: Apr 20, 2021
After spending a whopping 8 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her breakout hit "Drivers License," Olivia Rodrigo is back with the follow-up called "Deja Vu." The song details the suspicion that one’s ex-significant other is now doing everything that made a relationship special — with someone else. Rodrigo recounts these memories over a twinkling piano.
The video opens with Rodrigo driving through Malibu with strawberry ice cream before ending up at a mossy home. Inside, she sees a girl (played by Talia Ryder) trying on a green dress. After leaving the first house, she goes back to her home and reveals that she has the same dress. From there, Rodrigo and Ryder swap places in the same scenes and outfits as Rodrigo watches them all on a pile of old television sets. The video ends with the same opening scene, with Ryder driving the car.
