Black print member Rose has made her solo music debut with a song titled "On The Ground" alongside a glamorous music video. With production and co-writing credits from Amy Allen (who has worked with Halsey and Selena Gomez), Jon Bellion (Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry), and K-pop veteran Teddy Park, the track has already has shot to the top of the iTunes chart. Rosé isn’t the first Blackpink band member to release solo music after Jennie previously released her song “Solo” back in 2018.
The Auckland, New Zealand-born singer first appears in the video in a fuchsia Alex Perry gown paired with black combat boots and a Saint Laurent leather jacket. The video has the combination of luxury fashion and e-girl accessories make for an eclectic look that sets the tone for what’s to come. The project’s other track is the stripped-back ballad “Gone,” which Rosé first performed at Blackprint's live stream “The Show” in January. You will find both songs to download above.
