NEW MUSIC: RYMAN | SOBER

Nashville-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Ryman Wooten, aka RYMAN has released a new song “Sober” with an accompanying music video. The song is taken from his upcoming second EP “Change”, which follows “Immature”. Speaking on the release, the artist said, “Blake Ruby sent me the song, and I was instantly addicted (no pun intended). I went over to Blake’s house and we wrote the bridge to the track. I’ve never cut a song that I didn’t write the bulk of, so this was a first for me.” Keeping the production aspect simplistic yet effective, the artist puts all the focus on his silky smooth vocals as he rides a pop-inspired guitar melody. Accompanying the release with a vibrant video that sees the artist got through the trials and tribulations of high school, the artist brings the song to life as he tries to impress the girl of his dreams. The video was directed by Mason Mecartea, who also directed his previous video for “Sober” and the song was written by Ryman Wooten, Blake Ruby, Jacob Blacker and Callie Rose Mechelke. Produced by Cleve and Baby. 2022 is shaping up to be a breakout year for the wunderkind as he stepped into the arena with his first proper release. Classic in structure while remaining sonically and viscerally forward-thinking, "Rewind," the debut five-track EP released via Cinematic Music Group, helped place RYMAN as a contemporary force among modern singer-songwriters, while “Space” and “Pushover” helped continue the momentum. RYMAN will be releasing his second EP, "Change," on July 8th, 2022.
