NEW MUSIC: SAINA | ALIVE

Introducing North West London singer, songwriter and producer Saïna (pronounced Sa-ee-na) with her brand new single titled “Alive.“ A vibrant record shows her being vulnerable and expressing her true feelings for the man who makes her feel alive. The singer delivers a sultry performance ripe with heartfelt lyrics over a smooth, bouncy groove provided by Ojay Beats with James McCarthy on the guitars. She doesn't hold back and details how she connected with her lover in the most sensual manner. Her performance is quite versatile as she takes elements from jazz, neo-soul, and Afropop aesthetics and flips them in her unique way. With influences ranging from Nina Simone to Amy Winehouse, Jorja Smith and Jhene Aiko, Saïna writes, performs and produces a lot of her material and collaborates with talented musicians whom she got to know while at Brit School and through her social network. Saïna took up playing the piano when she was only 7-years old. She has been writing songs since she was 12 years old, with her musical style running the gamut of neo-soul, R&B, jazz and hip-hop. Now working from her bedroom studio, Saïna writes, performs and produces a lot of her material and collaborates with an exciting network of talented musicians that she has built from her time at BRIT School and through her social media. Like her new single “Alive,” she explores themes of connection, vulnerability and renewal through the striking visual imagery and irony in her songwriting.
