Dancehall star Sean Paul has teamed up with pop star Sia for the track "Dynamite" as he first collaborated with Sia in 2016 on "Cheap Thrills." Sean Paul, Dancehall’s most sought-after artist for duets, has paid homage to the scores of female singers and deejays with whom he has collaborated on songs over the years. Released on December 17, 2015, as the fourth extract from the seventh album by Australian singer-songwriter Sia, "This Is Acting," was the protagonist of a remix version by the Jamaican rapper in February 2016. He is loved by the international audience as well as by critics; thanks to Sean's upbeat sound and Sia's signature vocals, "Cheap Thrills" reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, becoming in effect Sia's first number-one single within the same chart, and Sean Paul's second since "Temperature" in 2006. Sean Paul has been a favourite of international artists seeking to add some Jamaican flavour to their songs. He has also collaborated with some of Dancehall’s hottest stars, including Mr. Vegas, Sasha, Lady Saw, Beenie Man. His Dancehall collaboration "Hot Gal Today" with Mr. Vegas was the first to propel him into the international spotlight. Unlike his last album, "Live N Livin," Paul’s upcoming album "Scorcher" will feature several female collaborators. They include Shenseea and Gwen Stefani on the Reggae-rock single tune called "Light My Fire."
