NEW MUSIC: SELAH SUE | PILLS

Belgian singer-songwriter Selah Sue has announced her upcoming third studio album, “Persona” which will be released on March 25, 2022. From the album, she unveiled the third single called “Pills” with an accompanying music video following Hurray” and “Free “Fall.” The song was written by Sanne Putseys, Matt Parad and Joachim Saerens and produced by Sanne Putseys and Marion Dupas directed the accompanying music video. The track's heavy lyrics are then countered by the song’s disco-infused grooves and Selah’s effervescent vocals. This soundscape of dancefloor leaning pop and R&B adds a level of sophistication to the heavy lyrics of anhedonia. This stunning single will be one of the songs off of the singer's forthcoming album, "Persona, which explores more layers of Sue’s identity. Before Sue’s most recent project, the artist cut her music teeth with her self-titled debut album. Sue collaborated with artists like Childish Gambino, CeeLo Green, and J Cole. The new album comprises 17-track, featuring guest appearances from TOBi, Mick Jenkins, Benjamin Epps and Black Dive. Since breaking through in 2011 with her platinum-selling self-titled debut album, Selah Sue has embarked on a unique musical journey, collaborating with Childish Gambino and J Cole and gaining the ultimate seal of approval from the late Prince.
