NEW MUSIC: SKYLAR GREY | FALLING APART

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey will release her upcoming self-titled fourth album on April 28, 2022. It is the first album in six years since the 2016 album “Natural Causes” and is her first album as an independent artist, which comprises 10-track, produced and written by Skylar Grey herself. Skylar Grey has endured tumult, trials, and tribulations only to take control of her artistry like never before, writing, producing, and performing every note—alone on her first album since 2016. The result is her most ambitious and cohesive project to date. Initially, the album title was “Partly Cloudy With a Chance of Tears,” but she changed to the title “Skylar Grey”. She released the first single, “Partly Cloudy With a Chance of Tears,” and a music video in September 2021. “Vampire At the Swimming Pool,” the second single, was released last November. "Falling Apart" is a beautiful, atmospheric song with layered vocal harmonies that show Skylar's appreciation for Imogene Heap. The track joins singles "Partly Cloudy With a Chance of Tears" and "Vampire At The Swimming Pool" to pave the way for Skylar's new project. Skylar Grey wrote and produced the new track, and Ryan McKinnon filmed the accompanying video. Skylar Grey shared on social media, “It's been a long time since I dropped the first single off my album… I wasn't ready yet. I'm ready now. this is how I feel about getting older.”
