Actress and singer Sofia Carson have released a new song titled "He Loves Me But." which is a follow-up to "Fool's Gold released back in March. Revealing the news via social media, she published a photo with shades of green next to a leaf and a dress of the same colour with the caption “The next chapter of my story,” which may indicate new works by the singer shortly. Sofia revealed that she has written a lot and is preparing for this new phase, saying, “I've been in the studio more than ever. And I wanted to tell a story to the world, which starts with 'Fool's Gold.' Stargate [producer duo] sent me a demo a while back, and it was the initial idea for 'Fool's Gold,'” she commented on the previously released single. Sofia Carson also revealed that she likes Brazilian artists like Anitta, Manu Gavassi and Alok. Carson made her singing debut in 2015 with the soundtrack album Descendants, and in the same year, she released the single "Rotten to the Core." In 2016, she signed to Hollywood Records and released her debut single, "Love Is the Name."
