NEW MUSIC: SZA | BREAKING EVEN (UNRELEASED)

When Solána Rowe’s better known as SZA debut album "Ctrl" dropped, to universal acclaim, in June 2017, stellar reviews quickly turned into sales; the album was quickly certified platinum. Today we get an unreleased track from that debut album titled "Breaking Even," which seems to be a leftover that did not end making the final cut. The new song probably would be a fit on CTRL, but it's great on its own and a composition that the head of the label Anthony Tiffith posted on his Instagram account 5 years back. SZA's impact on the music industry has been so profound, it’s hard to imagine what an R&B playlist would sound like without her now. There have, of course, been high-profile collaborations – with Childish Gambino on his number-one hit “This Is America” and Kendrick Lamar on the song “All The Stars” for the Black Panther soundtrack, among many others.
