NEW MUSIC: TATE MCRAE | CHAOTIC

Rising pop star Tate McRae has recently shifted gears lately to focus on her music career, and the transition has been a seamless one. Following up her initial 2020 EP, "All The Things I Never Said," she came out of the gate in early 2021 with the follow-up, "Too Young To Be Sad," which spawned hit singles like “You Broke Me First” and “Rubberband.” The singer/songwriter Tate McRae now releases her new track and visualizer for “Chaotic” via RCA Records. The emotionally charged ballad showcases more of McRae’s lyrics and reunites her with Grammy Award-winning songwriter/producer Greg Kurstin. This serves as her third single for the forthcoming album. This song is a bluesy reflection on how hard it can be to change, grow up, and leave behind old habits and old relationships. It sits comfortably within the sad-streaked palette Tate has already established to get her emotions out in song form. “chaotic” will be featured on McRae’s debut album, which is due in early spring 2022. Her debut album will also feature previously released songs “feel like shit” and the current single “she’s all I wanna be.” “she’s all I wanna be” has over 100 million streams and is currently in the Top 15 on the Top 40 chart. In March, McRae is presently on her 2022 North American Tour with special guest Mimi Webb. Following the North American Tour, she will continue to headline dates in the UK and Europe. In addition, this fall, she will be touring as the special guest on Shawn Mendes’ Wonder: The World Tour 2022.
