NEW MUSIC: THE CHAINSMOKERS | MEET ME AT OUR SPOT (REMIX)
Updated: Jan 27, 2022
Serving as a follow-up to the previous remix of Bonnie Raitt's “I Can't Make You Love Me.” Alex Palle and Drew Taggart have finally announced the return and the upcoming arrival of their 4th album "TCS4." The two friends have already delighted us with the surprise release of a remix at the very beginning of 2022. Well again, the new surprise remix of 'Meet Me At Our Spot' from another duo, THE ANXIETY (composed of Willow Smith and Tyler Cole), from their self-titled debut album in 2020. The result is once again very nice. In a still teenage, US pop spirit, we are delighted to find them in this remix exercise in which they excelled so much when they debuted on Soundcloud a few years ago. Without being revolutionary, this production is an excellent return to basics intended for first-time fans, who we are convinced will be delighted to find the real Chainsmokers. The duo wrote on their SoundCloud channel, “So this is one of our favourite songs recently. We wanted to take it back to our roots and remix this amazing indie record and turn it on its head and make something really fun. Again, this is just for you, our day one fan, to say thanks again and know some really special things are just around the corner.”
