In October, Max George, Tom Parker, Nathan Sykes, Jay McGuiness and Siva Kaneswaran, known as The Wanted, announced that they were getting back together and unveiled their first new single in seven years; titled "Rule The World." Written by Max from the band with Ari Leff (aka Lauv) and Michael Pollack (Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5), "Rule The World" has a euphoric, dancefloor-friendly sound that harks back to their signature hits "All Time Low" and "Glad You Came." The track is the lead-up to the group's upcoming greatest hits album, "Most Wanted," released on November 12. The retrospective is accompanied by a 12-date reunion arena tour in March 2022, kicking off in Glasgow on March 3 and wrapping in Liverpool on March 17. After their hiatus, which began in 2014, The Wanted taking to the stage for the first time in seven years at Tom Parker's charity concert for Stand Up To Cancer called Inside My Head, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall 20th September. Tom, who is 33-years-old, was sadly diagnosed with a brain tumour in October 2020. The singer shared in January 2021 that he was continuing treatment after the tumour had been "significantly reduced," updating fans again this week with the news that his tumour has shrunk in size after a year of treatment.
