NEW MUSIC: THE WEEKND | OUT OF TIME (REMIX BUNDLE)

The Weeknd blessed the masses at the start of the year by unveiling his eagerly awaited "Dawn FM" project. The album, described by The Weeknd as a sonic experience, features Tyler, the Creator, Oneohtrix Point Never, Quincy Jones, Lil Wayne, and Jim Carrey. His momentum has since kept on rolling as he has released a slew of fascinating visuals for tunes such as “Gasoline (XO Vision),” “Sacrifice,” “Take My Breath,” and now his latest, “Out Of Time.” He now has released a remix bundle for his song "Out Of Time" that includes four remixes of the track plus the original and an instrumental version. The music video for “Out Of Time,” directed by Cliqua and featuring Jim Carrey and South Korean actress HoYeon Jung, can be seen. By sampling Tomoko Aran’s 1983 song “Midnight Pretenders” and combining it with his own introspective lyrics, the platinum-selling artist flips a City Pop classic and blends it into his own song. The Weeknd said of the project, "the album I've always wanted to make" following the releases of "After Hours," "Starboy," and "Beauty Behind the Madness." Aside from releasing new music, it also marks the announcement that his songs "Blinding Lights" and "Starboy" are officially certified diamond by RIAA (The Recording Industry Association of America.) This makes The Weeknd only the sixth solo artist to reach three diamond digital single awards. The star will also embark on his first-ever stadium tour in July, beginning in his hometown of Toronto. The tour will feature Doja Cat and run through September before concluding in Los Angeles.
