NEW MUSIC: THIS IS US CAST | THE FOREVER NOW (FROM "THIS IS US" SEASON 6) (FEAT. MANDY MOORE)

Hollywood Records has released the original song "The Forever Now" from the NBC drama; "This Is Us." The track, which is featured in Season 6 episode, "Day of the Wedding," is written by the show’s composer Siddhartha Kholsla (Only Murders in the Building, Queenpins, Runaways, I Want You Back, Looking for Alaska) (whose end credits theme the track is based on) & Taylor Goldsmith and performed by Mandy Moore, and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. It has been 13 years since Mandy Moore first stormed the pop music charts in 2009 with “I Wanna Be with You.” However, that song peaked at number twenty-four on the Hot 100. Moore performed a version of the poignant song during the episode, initially recognized as the show’s closing theme throughout its six seasons. Consequently, Moore’s poignant delivery of the song during the episode paralleled the life of her character, Rebecca Pearson, who suffers from cognitive degeneration. This Is Us’ final season and is more emotional than we guessed. In the six seasons of the iconic series, the Pearson family has come a long way, and now we can see it all come together at Kate’s second wedding. She’s finally moved on from her 2017 wedding to Toby and will marry coworker Phillip in 2026. "This Is Us" is created by Dan Fogelman and stars Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Sullivan. The final episodes of the drama air Tuesday night on NBC.
